To support the leadership capacity of early childhood educators the project team brought workshops and motivational speakers to parents, caregivers and educators. The ECE's found their voice through greater self confidence and by finding confidence in themselves they could then pass that on to the ECE sector and the children in their care. They also strove to raise the “consciousness” of early childhood educators of the importance of their work, which in turn would encourage the sector to share that knowledge with parents and the community. They looked forward to the process of learning and growing together with other ECE’s as they made strong connections through the journey.
