From the annual ECEBC Conference and workshops to professional development programs ECEBC is committed to connecting and facilitating professional development opportunities for early childhood professionals.

Professional Development Certificate: Your professional development certificate is an important document. Please keep it in a safe place. A fee may be applied for processing requests for lost records or for issuing records more than 8 weeks following the completion of the course.  Tip:  you may find it helpful to save your professional development certificates in a folder in your computer for ease of registry filings.

BC Early Years Professional Development Hub

For additional opportunities please visit the BC EYPD Hub. You will need to create a profile on the BC Early Years Professional Development HUB to register for courses.

Every year ECEBC hosts a multi-day conference for Early Childhood Educators of BC which includes workshops, inspiring speakers, plenary sessions and more.

This four-part series guides participants on a journey of ethical discovery and awareness. This is a project of The Canadian Child Care Federation & ECEBC.


Let's Talk About Touching

Let’s Talk is an inclusive child sexual abuse prevention program for children aged 4 to 6 years that has been highly valued in the early childhood community.


Learning Outside Together (LOT) Program

ECEBC, BCACCS & the SRDC have developed the LOT program: incorporating traditional wisdom and promising practices to futureproof child care programs.


Peer Mentoring Program

The Peer-Mentoring Program established by TRU Professor Laura Doan has been created to support the ongoing professional needs of ECE’s.


The Hub

The BC Early Years Professional Development Hub was created for anyone working with children aged birth to 12 years to provide a place to learn, share and connect with one another.


Leading Change

ECEBC and the non-profit Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC) have partnered to develop the Leading Change program with funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada.


Early Childhood Pedagogy Network

The British Columbia Early Childhood Pedagogy Network (ECPN) is an initiative within Childcare BC’s strategy to support early childhood educators.
