The annual BC Child Care Survey is now open for 2022. The survey is conducted in order to understand the impacts of the Early Care and Learning Recruitment & Retention Strategy on BC's child care workforce and will be available until November 14, 2022. If you are working the Early Childhood Education sector please add your voice by filling out the survey.

Promise made, promise kept. One year ago, BC signed the Canada-wide child care agreement promising to significantly reduce fees by December 2022. Today, the BC government delivered on that promise. View the joint media release from the Coalition of Child Care Advocates of BC (CCCABC) and the Early Childhood Educators of BC (ECEBC).

Registration is now open for the North Shore Early Childhood Virtual Conference being held on September 24th from 8:30am to 12:00pm. The conference is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and the theme of the conference is "Major Politics and ECCE".

ECEBC is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of ECEBC Education Manager. The Education Manager will work closely with, and report to, the Executive Director to ensure effective execution of the Society’s strategic plan, is in alignment with the ECEBC obligations, as well as broader priorities to satisfy both programmatic and organizational development needs.
