Early Childhood Educator (ECE/ECEA) Substitute
For over thirty years, as a non-profit daycare, Wee Care Daycare has provided nurturing and attentive childcare services for preschool children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old to provide quality care to families in our community.
We are currently seeking a passionate, adaptable, and creative teacher who's dedicated to educating young children, socially, emotionally, and academically.
Your Key Responsiblities will be:
- Provide direct care for preschool-age children who demonstrate an attitude of love and respect.
- Collaborate in the implementation of daily programs and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Support children in daily routines including mealtimes, nap times and outdoor play.
- Set up play equipment for outside/ inside play.
- Follow licensing regulations and adhere to daycare policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Other: ECE/ ECE A OR Responsible Adult
Required Experience:
Has Experience working with young children
Salary & Benefits:
Salary is $18.00 per hour (plus $6/hr ECE Wage Enhancement where applicable)
