ECEBC Ambassador Pilot Project
The Goal of the ECEBC Ambassador Pilot Project is to build local connections and enhance knowledge of ECEBC fostering increased linkages between ECEBC and local educators. Fostering alignment with the ECEBC mission, vision, obligations and society purposes.
What will the new Ambassadors do?
To support knowledge mobilization of ECEBC programs, services, mission, vision and messaging, the Ambassadors will:
- Share information about ECEBC programs, resources and services.
- Mobilize knowledge of ECEBC messaging and initiatives.
- Connect with local ECEs and sector, ensuring voices are heard.
- Support local ECEBC branches and foster new local ECEBC branches.
- Encourage ECEBC membership.
- Determine local community's needs, desires, concerns and gaps and share back to ECEBC.
- Coordinator/attend events, professional development, conversation circles, COPs, etc. with local ECEBC branches and current ECE tables.
- To connect with the Provincial Ambassador team and ECEBC Coordinators.
- Bring forth multiple ECE voices for ECEBC growth and future opportunities (i.e. social media, journal and Podcast, programs).
ECEBC Hopes to Expand:
- Work that aligns with the ECEBC strategic plan.
- Membership and branches to be further be informed and engaged.
- Membership and branch growth.
- The understanding of ECEBC work.
- ECEBC's knowledge and understanding regarding realities of the sector Province-wide.
- New ways for educators to engage with ECEBC.
- New and existing Relationships.
