ECEBC's Letter To Colleagues:

March 22, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

ECEBC continues to work through the weekend to support you. Many educators have reached out to us and to other members seeking information and additional clarification to support their decision-making on if and how to provide emergency childcare during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important for government to understand individual and specific regional needs.

To that end, we are asking for ECEBC members and other colleagues to share their questions with their branch designate and if there is no local ECEBC branch in your community to please connect with the one you are located closest to. (Contact details below)

Together, we can be proactive by requesting that government address the many questions that are weighing on the minds of educators and the pressures placed on our sector.

ECEBC Board of Directors and Branch Executive will be meeting tomorrow night to consolidate the information you give us and in turn we will share the document with government.

Our hearts ache about the stress that this pandemic has put on all of you. We will always love and support Early Childhood Educators yesterday, today and tomorrow!

Best,

Violet Jessen- ECEBC Provincial Chair
