ECEBC Seeks Part-Time Accounting Assistant

ECEBC is looking for a part time accounting assistant to support the finance team for 21 hours per week.

Title:
Part-Time Accounting Assistant

Hours of Work:
Part-time position. 3 days per week at 7 hours/day, or 21 hours per week. One half day per week in the office is required.

Position Summary:
To support the Finance Team in recording day-to-day transactions, particularly pertaining to accounts receivable and bursary payments and completing related administrative tasks. This position takes day to day direction from the accounts and
office administrator, and broadly the Executive Director.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience performing administrative and financial functions
  • Ability to multitask and to work well with minimal supervision and under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and follow thru to completion of tasks within deadline
  • High degree of accuracy, organized, and attention to details
  • Can work with minimum supervision
  • Positive attitude, team player, and with good work ethics

Compensation:
