We are looking for a strong, experienced, and organized Manager to oversee a busy daycare centre serving 150+ children located in Courtenay, BC.
The ideal candidate is a confident leader who can effectively manage staff, communicate with families, and ensure the centre operates smoothly and in accordance with licensing requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the daycare
- Managing, supporting, and communicating with staff
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Handling parent and family concerns professionally
- Ensuring compliance with all licensing requirements and regulations
- Managing emails, communication, and administrative tasks
- Supporting staff and maintaining a positive, professional work environment
- Completing all other regular managerial duties required to operate the centre successfully
We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, organized, and confident in a leadership role, with the ability to manage a large, busy childcare centre.
