Spirit Bears is entering an exciting new chapter as we transition from a pre-established centre into Spirit Bears Early Learning Centre.

We already have a wonderful team of educators, and we are looking for someone who wants to help us build and grow our program together.

This is an opportunity to have a real voice in creating a program that is:

Qualifications:

Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework
• Can create meaningful provocations inspired by children's interests, ideas, and questions
• Has a genuine passion for working wih young children
• Is flexible, adaptable, caring, dependable, and team-oriented
• Communicates positively with children, families, and colleagues
• Is available to provide substitute coverage when needed
• Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment

Years Experience Required:

Required Experience:

• Is a certified ECE or ECEA in BC
• Has 2+ years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
• Holds current First Aid certification
• Has a clear criminal record check

Salary & Benefits:

What We Offer

• $19–$20/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• $6/hour ECE Wage Enhancement, where eligible
• 5 paid sick days
