We are hiring for a BC Registered Early Childhood Educators to join our team. Two years experience working in a large daycare centre is an asset. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday. Early childhood educators plan, organize and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy and 5 years. Working as a team, Early childhood educators and assistants lead children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being. The main duties include:

  • Developing and implementing the child-care program
  • Leading activities, both individual and as group activities
  • Guiding and assisting children in their development
  • Planning and maintaining an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of the children
  • Establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with co-workers and parents

Qualifications:

Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications:

  • Valid BC License to Practice
  • Valid first aid/CPR certificate
  • Clear criminal record check
  • Two References

Required Experience:

  • Two years experience working with children in a large daycare setting
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to divers elearning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children,parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential traits for success in this role.
