We are looking for and ECEA or Responsible Adult to join us for a seasonal opportunity in our Out of School Care program from June 22 2026 to August 31 2026 full time. It is a work experience opportunity funded by Canada Summer Jobs for youth ages 15 to 30 to gain hands on experience and skills in the field of Early Childhood Education. We are happy to work with student and parent schedules provided there is decent availbility including afternoons until 6pm.
- Moderate level of activity including community and outdoor activities.
- General housekeeping tasks.
- Ideal candidate will entail a positive attitude, flexibility, a sense of fun, imagination and good work ethic.
- Be able to work in a fast paced enironment and feel comfortable managing a small group of children.
- Encourage positive behavior and guidance.
- Patient, empathetic, and carries a general interest in working with children.
- Be able to collaborate and work within a team.
Qualifications:
School Age Certificate
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid ECEA or RA certification.
- First aid and CPR.
- Able to provide a criminal record check
- Provide resume and references

Salary & Benefits:
- $20-$21 per hour based on qulaifications.
- Wage enhancement of $6 for qualifying certificates.
- Paid vacation of 4%.
