Join us in creating an ECE Culture of Leadership
Our Leadership Initiative is designed to support
ECEs across BC develop their capacity to take a leadership role in the
broader community.
This year, we are seeking 10 new Communities of Leadership Innovation
where 2 or 3 licensed-to-practice ECEs take a leadership role in
developing and implementing a community project that raises the profile of
and understanding of the value of ECEs. Projects will run from April, 2010 to June, 2011.
2010 Communities of Leadership Innovation
ECEBC wants to thank all the communities who submitted Community of Leadership Innovation proposals as part of our 2010 Leadership Initiative. We applaud and share your commitment to quality early care and learning programs and to honouring the early childhood educators in your communities. Your response to our Initiative affirms for us the importance of this work.
Given the range of creative proposals, it was not an easy task to accept some and not others. That said, we are delighted to support and work with 10 diverse Communities of Leadership Innovation in 2010. Together, we look forward the challenges, hard work and progress ahead.
